Platform Update: Added Revenue Options

Before we dive into the platform update, we want to send a huge thank you to our development team. Their dedication to improving the Side Door platform and make it the best possible experience for our users is inspiring.

Here's what's new:

We're giving you more control over how you login to your Side Door user-account. You can now sign-in using multiple social platforms, which will all lead to the same account. You can manage the connected social accounts through your profile settings. Please note that you must have at least one login selection active.

Customizable Call to Action for Show Page

Add a custom call to action (CTA) to your show page!

Add a custom call to action (CTA) to your show page!

Artists, you're going to LOVE this one! We've added a customizable call to action (CTA) link for the show page. Now ticket buyers will be shown an additional button on the show page. You can point this CTA to any web page and name the button whatever you'd like. We recommend linking to your website, PayPal, or Venmo page so fans can give you a tip, or your merch page to sell sweet merch!

This button is visible after someone purchases a ticket and when they come back to view the show on the show page.

Changes to the Show Builder

We've simplified the show builder from two categories (shows, online shows) to only one "Shows" category. You can now sort and show specific show types by selecting a toggle on the left side of the show builder.

We've built in a "planning tips" button to support you with planning the best possible show; selecting this will bring you to guides for online and in-person shows. When you're ready to plan your show, simply click "Plan Show" you'll have the option to plan your online or in-person show.

From the show planning page, you'll also be able to scroll through all of your shows. To help you stay organized, we've added the "needs" at the top of each show card and a preview of the latest unread message below. You'll also notice additional show status labels and calls to action based on the show's status.

Under "Manage" in the show builder, you'll notice we've simplified the layout to two panes. All shows (including self-promoted shows) will have a chat on the right-hand side to track the show booking history. (This was a big YAY moment for us).

Another new piece of supporting you with show planning is the "Preview Show" option. Now available for both online and in-person shows. Make sure you're checking this out to see what potential audience members will see on the show page.
