New system! New features! Now Beta!
Hello from the Side Door Team!
It’s been over a year in the making, but with your help we’ve finally launched our Beta platform! This is with great thanks to you, your feedback and patience.
If you have visited our website lately, you may have noticed that things look a little different (sometimes even week to week), so we wanted to walk you through what it actually does and how it works.
At a glance, here are our newest features:
– Logging in as a user
– Editing your profile
– Setting up your automatic post-show payment
– Tracking ticket sales
– New support portal, including Best Practices and FAQs
Here are some helpful tips for how to use these long awaited features (tutorial videos are also available, as is our support portal, for any additional assistance):
Logging in for the first time:
If you haven’t logged in before, you’ll need to create a user account in our system first at firstname.lastname@example.org/login. Any profiles you created before can be claimed with the phone number that was originally used (you won’t need to fill out the form again!) Please update your host/artist profile(s) to with recent photos, contact information, preferences, and so on, to ensure accurate matches.
Editing your profile:
Once you have claimed/created an artist or venue profile, you’ll be able to directly edit that profile at any time! Got a new band photo to share? Think your space can fit in a few more people? Thought of the perfect quip to add to your bio? Just navigate to My Venues/My Artists in the menu, select the profile you want to edit, click on that little edit button, and away you go!
Tracking ticket sales:
Click on My Settlements in the hamburger menu at the top left of the screen to see how ticket sales for on-sale shows are doing! The Settlement page also shows revenue/split information at-a-glance, allows you to download the guest list to check out guest names and individual orders, access the door sales link, and more!
As with any new system, you may come across a glitch or bump here and there, so please let us know at email@example.com if you’re experiencing any issues so that we can fix it as soon as possible. Your assistance and patience means so much!
Again, thank you for your part in all of this. We look forward to working with you as we continue to grow and improve this platform together!
