Sultans of String, with special guest Amanda Martinez

Join us for our first ever Live Stream concert! LUNA CD EDITION where we will try to play all the songs from our first album we created in 2007. This is a ZOOM show so we can see you and hear you as a real audience! And breaking news, Amanda Martinez will be dropping by to sing the song we co-wrote together from this album! So pour yourself a quarantini, and get ready to clap and dance along with our music! Or sit back and relax… Whatever you like! Three-time JUNO Award nominees and Billboard charting band Sultans of String creates “energetic and exciting music from a band with talent to burn!” according to UK's Maverick Magazine. Thrilling their audiences with their genre-hopping passport of Celtic reels, flamenco, gypsy-jazz, Arabic, Cuban and South Asian rhythms, the group celebrates musical fusion and human creativity with warmth and virtuosity. Fiery violin dances with rumba-flamenco guitar, while bass and percussion lay down unstoppable grooves. Acoustic strings meet with electronic wizardry to create layers and depth of sound, while world rhythms excite audiences to their feet with an irresistible need to dance. This show will last about an hour including audience questions at the end, and includes the fabulous trio Chris McKhool (violin), Kevin Laliberté (guitar) and Drew Birston (bass)!
